Create a friendly, healthy and safe environment that will encourage people at all ages, sizes, sexes and fitness levels to benefit from a regular yoga practice in a state of the art facility.

At the age of 49, Bob Floyd mentioned to a friend that an inner voice had been telling him to "do yoga". The friend happened to have Bikram's Beginning Yoga book and they began practicing together. After his friend moved away Bob continued to practice every day but Sunday for 1 ½ years. He had no knowledge of yoga before he began his practice and therefore no expectations, but he quickly discovered that his lower back stopped "going out", a lifelong problem. He noticed other physical benefits, but mostly he was just happier! With a background in the helping professions, Rehab Counseling, Bob could think of no better way to be of help to others than to teach Bikram Yoga. He received his Bikram Instructor Certification in 1998 and has been teaching ever since.
Diane Faircloth discovered Bikram Yoga in 2001 and quickly became addicted. Diagnosed with mild scoliosis several years before, Bikram Yoga was the first physical discipline she found that allowed her to strengthen and support her structural imbalance while providing the cardio workout her body craved. Having a background in Anatomy and Physiology and Eastern medicine, she could understand how Bikram yoga benefits the body from a western medical perspective as well as the energetic and spiritual benefits. She became committed to helping others experience the healing benefits of this yoga and received her Bikram Instructor Certification in 2003.

Michelle Schindler went to Bikram Yoga Teacher Training in Spring 2006 in L.A. She apprenticed under Elizabeth Marshall for over a year before moving to Tucson in August 2007. She believes that teaching Bikram Yoga is her life calling and knows that the opportunity for growth is ever present whether as a student or a teacher. She strives to stay open to and aware of all opportunities that will enhance her teaching and ultimately her students understanding of the yoga. Bikram Yoga is truly a life long journey. Michelle is honored to be in Tucson on this leg of the journey, happy to share known knowledge and participate in the future growth and understanding of this discipline.

Nicholle Johnson began practicing Bikram yoga consistently two years ago. She found that in this busy and stressful age that it was the only thing that quieted her mind, for 90 minutes a day she was truly at peace. It was the only practice that she had found thus far that balanced everything out; mental, spiritual, and physical well being. A year and a half into her practice it was suggested to her by her mentor and friend Diane Faircloth to go to teacher training. Her first response was but I am not a size two, how could I become a teacher. With the encouragement of her family and studio she became a teacher in spring of 2008 and finally understands that that was the point, with determination, courage, and willingness anyone can do Bikram Yoga. The only limiting factor that anyone has to do anything is themselves. She hopes that in teaching and practicing she can help show that yogis come in all shapes and sizes.

Nicholas Jones was introduced to Bikram Yoga in 2006 by his older brother, now also a Bikram Yoga Instructor. Through out the first year he practiced a couple times a week to supplement his other physical activities, including weight lifting, soccer, and triathlons. It became apparent quickly that there was something unique and powerful about the Bikram Yoga series. Not only did the yoga help him to overcome several injuries caused by the other activities, but Nicholas soon realized the benefits span far greater than the physical body. Nicholas increased the frequency of his practice, eventually to 7 classes a week. He graduated from the Spring 2008 Bikram Yoga Teacher Training. He hopes to serve all that are dedicated to this life changing practice, and remains enthusiastic to further unlock the unlimited potential through Bikram Yoga.
